Nala

Hi! My name is Nala. I am beautiful long haired spayed female Saint Bernard. I am 2 ½ years old, 130lbs, heartworm negative, microchipped, and utd on vaccines. I have great house manners and love to cuddle with my foster dad. I came to OSBR from a domestic violence situation/divorce and my family had to surrender me due to having to move to an apartment that didn’t allow dogs. I was raised with kids without any issues, but due to my size, I am looking for a home with either no children, or Saint Bernard savvy older kids. I spent some time at board and train and my trainer gave me rave reviews. I did well with dog intros with all size of dogs. Currently I live with two male Saint Bernards and I am doing my part of keeping them in line, like most female Saints. My foster describes me as dog selective so I would have to meet any dogs in the home prior to adoption.  I have even done a little agility and loved it.  My foster dad takes me and my two Saint foster brothers camping (by himself) and I am a good girl and I have done well with the kids I have played with when camping. I love car rides, bully sticks and jerky. I am still a little shy, so you may need to meet me a couple of times to get a real feel of my true personality. I can be a little barky and I do like to chase squirrels, so I should probably live in a home with no small animals or livestock. I would love to come lay on your couch and be your forever friend. I am being fostered in Portland, OR. If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an adoption application at www.saintrescue.org or contact Elizabeth via email at houseofthebigdog@gmail.com.
