Douglas came into rescue from a shelter. He just turned one on June 1st. He was fixed. His first family gave him to another family. His second family was getting a divorce so they surrendered him to the shelter. He is a very sweet boy but was not food motivated. He loved playing outside. His foster said he was still very much a puppy and needed some training. He rode well in the car and walked on a leash. Douglas was adopted and his owner renamed him Murphy. After about a month Murphy had an encounter with a neighborhood dog which resulted in Murphy attacking this dog. Then he started attacking one of the other dogs in his home. This has been a very trying experience for his owner. Murphy seems to get along fine with one dog in the home but continue to go after the other dog in the home. Trainers have been to the home and it has been decided that Murphy needs to fine another placement and be the only dog in the home. He loves people and enjoys snuggles. If you think you can provide this young man with a loving home please let us know. He is looking for another forever home.
