Marshmallow is estimated to be six to seven years old. She was found as a stray, shaved down and wearing a pink halter and leash. She was taken to the local shelter, and no one came to claim her. A couple who adopts senior dogs adopted her, but she didn’t like their cat and small dogs, so they called us. They said she kept trying to escape.
When she came to us, she continued to try and escape. She no longer tries to escape after having been with us a few months. Sadly, it is believed she had had a litter of puppies and was trying to get back to them.
Marshmallow is a very sweet and loving girl. She runs around and plays with several of our male saints in the rescue. She likes her raised bed and keeps her stuffie with her on the bed. She loves drinking from the hose and will play in the water from the hose. She has filled out nicely and her beautiful coat is coming back in. Please consider giving Marshmallow a loving retirement home.
