Illinois Saint Bernard Rescue is looking for temporary, loving foster homes for homeless Saints in the Chicagoland Area and surrounding cities. If interested, please contact Tammy Falletti at 708-599-0708.

Lexi: This sweet girl came to us from a Southern Illinois shelter after her owner could no longer keep her due to finances. Lexi is estimated to be 5-6 years old. She has lived a pretty hard life, confined to a small pen most of the time and only fed bread and noodles as that is all the owner could afford. She is such a sweet girl. She is good with other dogs and children. We are currently treating her for a heartworm infection and she will be ready for adoption in late December. Until then, we will be accepting applications for this special lady. 11/16/2008

Mandy: Mandy came to us along with her two sons, Donnie and JJ, from a Southern Illinois shelter after their owner could no longer keep them after she was found to have too many animals. Mandy is 4 years old and very petite, she is a small Saint, and will weigh about 90 pounds once she is at a healthy weight. She had a skin infection and was thin but we are working to fatten her up!! She is a real sweetheart and gets along well with other dogs and children. For more information on how you can make this cutie a part of your family, please contact us.

Mona: This very sweet 3-4 year old came to us from a high kill shelter after her owner relinquished her because the city chopped down the tree she had been tied to her entire life. Since the owner ran out of trees to leave her to live on, they gave her up for adoption. She is housebroken and crate trained. She knows some basic commands. She is good with dogs her own size but not recommended for homes with cats. She has been raised with children. She is petite, just around 75 pounds. For more info on how to make this precious girl a part of your family, please contact us. 9/30/2008
